to be or not to be a thought daughter. am i introspective enough? anxious enough? depressed enough?

as tiktok (specifically @ali.shelf) helpfully explains, the "thought daughter" has roots in the meme “would you rather have a gay son or thot daughter?” and let’s just say this one leans a little less “thot” and a lot more “thought.” she’s an overthinker. introspective to a fault. the kind of person who can sit alone with her thoughts for hours and call it a good time. she gravitates toward the music, movies, and books that don’t just entertain her—they make her feel seen. the misunderstood vibe? practically a requirement.

which brings me to the big question: am i a thought daughter, or do i just like the idea? because, sure, i love to read and yes, i appreciate a quiet corner, but a loner? maybe not. introspective? i don’t think so, either. i enjoy being alone, while surrounded by people, thank you very much. silence? comforting, sure, but not necessarily a symbol of some deep existential introspection.
